  • A Fiction book trilogy, romantic novel, suspense thriller with action terrorism thriller and adventure thriller. The Vengeance Trap is a book trilogy by Ophir Publishing located in Florida. The book trilogy is based on the Northern Ireland conflict.
In The Vengeance Trap, the first book of a trilogy, two passionate young people overcome crushing events that would destroy most of us. They meet on an icy beach in Northern Ireland in 1983, and grow to love each other deeply. Much of their time is spent apart though, because they are driven by the vengeance in their hearts.

Five years earlier both their families were murdered, on opposite sides of the globe, for vastly different political agendas. Kathleen O'Toole is now a tough commando trainer for the IRA and she is its globe-trotting munitions buyer. Omar Jabri has become a modern-day pirate & gun runner, plying the seas in his private warship--invisible to radar and too fast for any navy to catch. The CIA wants this ship. Kathleen wants the Brits out of Ireland . Omar will do whatever is necessary to never lose anything again--which makes him an insanely jealous lover.

Thirteen years speed by. Kathleen and Omar have two little boys and ache to be good parents. They have to make some hard choices about their lives. At the very end of this book, they begin, finally, to set aside their painful memories and appreciate what they have.

In books two and three, the boys grow apart as one reaches for the things of this world and the other reaches for something too horrible for this world.

And what about forgiveness and love? Do any of them find it?

They’d better. The lives of several million people come to depend on it.
